Conference Office / Information Desk

The conference office and the information desk are located on the ground floor of the Physikalisches Institut of the University, Im Neuenheimer Feld 226, 69120 Heidelberg. The opening hours are the following:

The on-site registration and check-in will take place at the conference office. For online-registered participants there will be an additional express check-in available directly at the Heidelberg central train station.

At the check-in you will receive a receipt for your conference fee, a conference-travel-ticket, the login-password for WLAN (WiFi) access and your name tag. The name tag must be worn visibly throughout the entire conference.

Your name tag contains also a conference-travel-ticket and will authorize you to use all local public transport, including buses, trams and the S-Bahn (of the Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr) in Heidelberg from March 22 to March 27. The conference-travel-ticket is printed on your name tag. A public transport network map for Heidelberg is included in the registration material and is also available at the information desk.

Note: Students of the University of Heidelberg will not receive a conference-travel-ticket on their name tag.

The organizers, staff of the conference, and the student assistants will be identifiable by coloured name tags and Ф-T-shirts. Please contact them if you have any questions.

Do not hesitate to ask about the conference, orientation in Heidelberg, accommodation, restaurants, nightlife options, and cultural events at the information desk.
